Harris Teeter Super Doubles 3/26-4/1!!

Good afternoon, It’s Super Doubles time at Harris Teeter thru 4/1!!

Welcome to the new couponers & those recently added to this distribution list, you will find this email to be more of a review type email (with deals I’ve found so far of course), but I just wanted to clarify several things that are very important to us a couponers.

**HT has recently updated their coupon policy, see: HT Coupon Policy

I do strongly recommend that you read it & become familiar with it to make the shopping experience easier for both you, the cashier & management.

Knowledge really is Power & it’s VERY helpful to know what your rights &/or restrictions may be for wherever you shop/coupon at.

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me anything & I will do my best to answer your questions!

With that being said & the information provided in the attached HT coupon policy, here are a few deals I got in on at HT earlier today:

Purex  $2.97 (e-vic raincheck) used $1.50/1mc (No Sort q)=FREE

Reese’s big cups $.99 b1g1f $.49, $1/3mc=FREE

Suave body lotion $2.50, $1.50/1mc=FREE

Fishers Pecans $3.99 b1g1f $1.99, $1/1mc=FREE

Fig Newtons $4.69 b1g1f $2.34, $.75/1mc=$.84ea

Lancaster chewy caramel candy $4.29, $1.50/1mc=$1.29

2000 Flushes tabs $3.29, $1/1mc ip=$1.29

Couponer Jargon Key/tips/Important information:

MC=manufacturer coupon (found in RedPlum, SmartSource, P&G coupon inserts from Sunday newspapers…RedPlum OR SmartSource are normally also mailed out weekly to your homes along with the Store sales ads for the week)

MCIP=Manufacturer Coupon Internet Printable, these can be found in several places incuding, Company FB pages, Company websites, Coupons.com, MySavings.com, RedPlum.com SmartSource.com, etc, etc.

****!!IMPORTANT!!**** Do NOT make a copy of a printable coupon! Each coupon has a set of #’s that differ each time you print one. This is also a form of tracking exactly WHERE the coupon was printed at, by the static IP address on the computer you used to print the coupon. Copies of printable coupons are considered fraudulent & could put you in jail with hefty fines to pay (whether or not you personally printed/used it, you printed & gave it to someone, or if someone gave you the coupon, they still hold all parties accountable, to my understanding), so it’s definitely not worth it. Deals come around so often that it’s really not worth going to jail over ;)

E-Cpn=electronic coupons that are saved to your rewards card, these should auto-deduct at the register after the product(s) have been scanned or after everything in your transaction has been scanned. If it does not, just let the cashier know or go to the Customer Service desk after you pay & they will verify the coupon was saved to your card & refund you the coupon value.

**These will only come off of 1 of the specified products it was for, so if you buy multiple brand/products that qualify for this e-cpn, it will only credit you the coupon value ONCE.

**These can be “stacked” with an mc/mcip & current sale/clearance items for greater savings!!

***Sometimes these coupons come available again after they’ve been redeemed, just sign into your HT account & go to e-cpns & see if it’s back out there, also check constantly (or at least weekly) for new coupons that have been made available to add to your card, these are available in limited quantities, so first come, first served!

Rainchecks=if a sale item is out of stock, grab a raincheck! They are great, they NEVER expire & you can hold onto them & use them at your convenience!

**Please note that, if you get a raincheck during Super Doubles/Triples, it will ONLY reserve the PRICE at the time of the sale & it doesn’t double your coupons at the time of redemption unless you redeem at another Super Doubles event!

3. Try to guesstimate how much out of pocket you are expecting to pay at the register (before coupons/amount of coupons you have\after coupon (mc-mcip-e-cpn) balance, so it'll give you an idea . yes it takes more time but you don't want to pay more than you have to at the register.

Jargon/abbreviattion breakdown:

mc=manufacturer coupon (found in inserts)

mc ip=internet printable coupons (coupons.com, redplum.com, smartsource.com etc)

e-cpn=coupons that are electronically saved to your VIC card, these will come off at the register when you are checking out, after the cashier hits total/enter, etc.

***you will want to have an idea of the e-cpns that should be coming off at the register to make sure you don't miss out on those savings, make sure they are saved to your card & you can inform cashier/mgr that they didn't come off & they will either manually credit it off, or pay you back for those coupons at the customer service desk.

Keep in mind that some customer service employees will check behind you before they pay you back or credit you the e-cpn amount, by signing into their site to ensure they are actually saved on your card.

mm=moneymaker, this means your item was already free & this amount will just apply to the remainder of your transaction. Be sure that if you do have a moneymaker item, that you have something else in your transaction to soak up that amount.

E-Vic limit is the amount of items you are limited to on each VIC card.

**Note that these are different then the e-VIC offers we receive via email every Friday (or late Thursday evening for some). If you have not signed up for e-VIC offers, sign into http://www.HarrisTeeter.com & update your profile, it will go into effect on the next weeks ad.
