Walgreens-Splenda & One A Day Vitamins

There are a couple decent deals at Walgreens this week (thru Saturday):

Splenda 100ct is $2.99 with the in-ad coupon, and there is a $2/1 coupon making them $.99. BUT there is also a 'register reward' attached to them, buy 3 get $5 RR back $2mm (remember the register rewards can be used at Harris Teeter as well because they are counted as a competitor coupon). So with the manufacturer coupon you are only paying $3+ tax, getting $5 back. (or if you buy 2 you can get $2RR)

One A Day vitamins (orange box) are b1g1 50% off $7.99 ($3.98), there is a $4/1 store coupon & $2/1mc, making every 2 you buy about $1 or so + tax.

Food Lion-High value load to card coupons & Unilever Promotion

I was just tipped off to this info (thanks Gail!!), click the link below to get $2 off of a $2+ purchase at Food Lion (I'm not sure of expiration dates, so you may want to use this fast!)

http://www.foodlion.com/Savings/BrandStratOffer (if this link doesn't work when you click on it just copy & paste it in your internet browser)
*You will just need to sign in/register your MVP card & click "load to card", this will automatically come off of your transaction at the register.

Also, if you click Food Lion's home page & look for the banner/promo of the "Operation Grocery Drop", click on it & it will redirect you to connect with your facebook (you can try this link, but I did this on my mobile, so I just ended up having to go through the above process on my phone from their website) http://www.facebook.com/foodlion?v=app_306152866183803&app_data=gaReferrerOverride%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.foodlion.com%252F you will need to "like" their FB page, if you haven't already done so, and it will ask you to guess where their next Operation Grocery drop will take place, click 'submit' & fill out your Name/home addr/city-state-zip\email address & MVP number & click 'submit' and then you will get a screen that says:
"Thanks for entering!
Click here to get your Food Lion coupon
Tell Your Friends to Join In!"

Once you click that link, it will take you back to the Food Lion home page & you will need to "Load to card" also, it's a $4 off of a $20 purchase.

I'm not sure if both of these coupons will come off in the same transaction or not, but if you are going to try it, I'd spend at least $22 BEFORE coupons to see if it they will both come off. If only one comes off, then you could just have the cashier remove some items & have them do it seperately.

They have a Unilever Promotion going on that I'd suggest combining these coupons with to maximize your savings:
Save $5 instantly when you spend $15 on participating Unilever products
Save $10 instantly when you spend $30 on participating Uniliever products.
**Remember, you can save e-coupons on your MVP card & combine paper coupons along with the $ off coupons that you loaded to your card to save even more.

Also, like I mentioned yesterday, don't forget to take advantage of that $5 produce purchase rebate that was in this previous Sunday's RedPlum insert!!

Here are the items in the Unilever promotion along with applicable coupons (I got this list from http://moolasavingmom.com/2013/05/food-lion-ad-and-coupons-matchups-521-528/ )

Got Shopkick? Shop Target? Get a free $2 shopkick gift card to Target!

I just received an email from Target about a $2 Shopkick giftcard to target! This is for new AND existing Shopkickers.

First, you will need to register for the Shopkick app (to know what all this app does, refer to one of my previous post where I talk about my favorite, money making apps) You can get goin by using this link http://get.shopkick.com/oak4939 , then you will want to click on this link to retrieve your $2 Target giftcard:

When you first sign up for Shopkick, it will ask you to pick a store that you will be earning your giftcard/reward from, this is nothing permanent & can be changed at anytime.. after your click that link, you will need to enter the mobile# of the device your using for that app so they can apply it to the correct user account. it gives you a choice to go to it from there, or just next time you log in or launch the Shokick app, it will tell you that you got a new gift.

If you wish to use it right away you can, all you have to do is launch the app and...:
Click Profile icon on the top left of the apps screen, then click on where it says (Your Name)'s activity on shopkick', press on that area & the top of the next screen will show you the gift cards that you currently have & are avail to be redeemed/used. For the $2 Target gift card in general, you will have until 6/7/13 to use it. I have more instructions on how this app works & how to earn points.

But to redeem this giftcard (or activate it) you have to walk into Target & it will become available. Once you do that, just click on that gift card & it will ask you if you are sure you want to redeem it & a barcode screen will come up, just have the cashier scan it & it works like an actual gift card, you just don't have to tote around or keep up with an actual giftcard lol.

Feel free to ask me questions if you have any!

Win $200 worth of groceries at HT!

So I was going to check on new e-coupons & to print out the list for my records, so I can compare w the sales specials...

Side note: In case you don't know how to print a list of your e-coupons: just sign in on www.harristeeter.com then click on the "This Weeks Specials", then scroll down to where it says My Specials, View All Specials, e-Vic coupons, you will want to click on e-Vic coupons & it will take you to a page where you can see what all coupons are available (you can also check to see what coupons are already saved on your VIC card, by clicking on 'my saved coupons', here you will not only be able to VIEW your existing saved coupons, but you can delete some if you want!) Once you have saved all the coupons that you want, click on the 'My Shopping List' tab, on the far right side of the screen you will see an email and a print option beside a dropdown box that lets you choose if you want to print/email the coupons only, the list only, or both. If you select the print option it comes up as a PDF, the email option, just send it to you in regular email format.

**You are only able to save up to 99 e-coupons on your VIC card at a time, so the delete option will come in handy if you have too many coupons saved & there were new ones that you wanted. If you are saving the coupons & you get an error message "FULL" on all coupons, that means you have saved the max amount of coupons to your VIC card already. All you need to do is delete some old ones to add on the new ones.

Ok back to the $200, in order to get the $200, here are the details:

If you have not previously used a Harris Teeter Pharmacy, for each new or transferred prescription and their subsequent refills, filled and paid for through July 2, 2013, your VIC household will be targeted with (1) $20 electronic coupon to be used on your next transaction of $20 or more. This $20 will automatically be deducted on the next transaction of $20 or more, regardless of the items purchased, by anyone in your VIC household. Offer excludes alcohol, tobacco, event and lottery tickets, pharmacy and gift cards. No cash back.

You will need to print this page & show it to the Pharmacist & they will give you a punch card, it sounds like everytime you get a prescription filled, they will Punch it & credit your VIC card for $20 (so it will automatically come off at the register on a transaction that is over $20)
Here is the page with more details, if you have prescriptions & have never had them filled at HT before, now is a perfect opportunity to start earning money back on Prescriptions that you buy!http://www.harristeeter.com/in_our_stores/departments/pharmacy/earn_free_groceries.aspx

Here is the 'fine print' of the offer:
*Due to government regulations, this offer is not available for supplies or services paid for in whole or in part by any government program, including Medicaid and Medicare. To qualify for the free offers, prescription must be paid for after being filled. Offer not eligible for RXs transferred from or previously filled at any Harris Teeter Pharmacy. Punch card offer good through July 2, 2013. Coupons expire 7/16/13. Only one $20 reward can be redeemed with each qualifying grocery purchase. Offer limited to 10 prescriptions per household.

Rite Aid-CVS-WalMart-Target deals

There isn't TOO much that I heard of going on this week for each of these stores, so I'm putting them all in one blogpost. See below, each store is seperated by name & deals beneath them. On the items that give overage, you will need to have something else in that transaction to soak up that overage with the exception of WalMart, per their coupon policy, they can pay you for any overage from a coupon/item from their drawer...if you'd rather not have to hassle over that, then just throw something else into your order & they woon't know the difference.
